Robert Stein Riesling 2017

I’ve tasted a few of these Robert Stein rieslings, and they are all very good. It seems to be an exception, as riesling is probably not what I would look for from a Mudgee wine. There are austere aromatics of lemon and stone. The palate has high acidity, is resolutely dry, and has a lemon, steel and floral thread. (Region: Mudgee, New South Wales, Rating: Good to Very Good, Drink: now to 2027+, Price: $30, Tasted: October, 2017, Source: Sample)
