Jim Barry The Lodge Hill Dry Riesling 2007


For around the $20 mark, Jim Barry's Lodge Hill riesling from the Clare Valley provides very good drinking at all ages.  The 2007 vintage tasted here a decade on offers up lemon and toast aromas.  The wine in the glass is towards golden in colour and the palate is finely poised and rather delicious drinking.  (Region: Clare Valley, Rating: Very Good, Would I buy it based on this tasting?
