Robert Stein Mudgee Reserve Chardonnay 2014

I thought this wine showed a bit of class.  Its aromatics are influenced by the wine's time in oak (50%  new French) which give the wine a cedar and cashew roundness to its chardonnay nectarine/stone fruit aromatics.  The palate is medium bodied and has an acid nip and edge from its partial malolactic ferment, which keeps this wine fresh, balanced and minerally in expression and in balance.  Rating: Good to Very Good
