Huntington Estate Méthode Traditionelle Chardonnay Pinot Noir Sparkling NV

Huntington Estate produce here a sparkling wine from chardonnay (60%) and pinot noir (40%) made using the traditional method.  Salmon pink in colour, its aromatics remind of stone fruit kernels and smoke.  The palate is dry with a closed expression of lemon rind.  Not entirely convincing, but not bad.
