d'Arenberg The Coppermine Road Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

The 2012 d'Arenberg icon releases are all delicious, an example of a good vintage in good hands.  The Coppermine Road is d'Arenberg's cabernet sauvignon from McLaren Vale.  Deeply coloured, it has aromatics of leaves, plums, blackcurrant and olive.  The palate has between medium and long length and fine but firm tannins.  Enjoyable now, this is a serious cabernet that will reward substantial time in the cellar.
