d'Arenberg d'Arry's Original Shiraz Grenache 2013

The 2013 release of d'Arenberg's d'Arry's original shiraz grenache is another good vintage of this wine.  D'Arenberg have access to some very special grenache vines, and it shows. In wine, after wine. This 2013 of the d'Arry's has aromatics of barbeque meats, graphite, tar and a hint of of mint.  The palate has attractive pastille fruit, coupled with a fine tannin structure and a really likeable approachability. For only $18, this is great value.
