Wynns Coonawarra Estate Michael Shiraz 1998

This is a good Wynns Coonawarra Estate Michael shiraz from the 1998 vintage.  It has aromatics of plum, game and well handled cedar.  There's quite long length on the palate, and its flavours remind of plum, blackcurrant and earth.  Tasted blind, the tannins seemed just a little dried out on the finish, which I suspect would have been forgiven or overlooked with its prestigious label known.  I liked it regardless.  Good to Very Good

Abv: 13.5%, Price: $90s, Vendors and website: http://www.wynns.com.au, Tasted: 2015
