Huntington Estate Block Three Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

Huntington Estate is one of the older small scale estates in the Mudgee region.  The wines are only available from the winery or via mail order.  Their 2011 cabernet sauvignon is a particularly good wine given the difficult vintage.  Its aromatics remind of cedar, clove and blackcurrant.  The palate is in balance and quite elegant, with between medium and long length on the finish and similar flavours.  Overall, an attractive cab sav.  Good to Very Good
