Château de Sainte Gemme Haut-Médoc 2009

The 2009 vintage in Bordeaux is a superlative vintage and most wines are very good, outstanding even, as a consequence.  This wine is most certainly a disappointment and an exception to this rule.  I wrote "weedy strawberry juice", which while inelegant, more or less sums things up.
