View Road Wines McLaren Vale Shiraz 2013

This wine from View Road Wines - the 2013 McLaren Vale shiraz - speaks of warmth and generosity.  It has aromatics of plum jam and gentle reminders of fresh rosemary and thyme.  The palate is in balance with lingering length, is elegant without lacking in stuffing and builds in intensity with time in the glass.  This is another very good release from winemaker, Josh Tuckfield.  I loved the note (shown) on the back label.
