Lowe Nullo Mountain Late Harvest Riesling 2013

There's something innately fascinating to me about a vineyard planted at the sub alpine altitude of 1,180 metres in Australia.  I've written earlier about the sauvignon blanc and pinot gris from the 2013 vintage from this same vineyard, and before me is the vineyard's 2013 late harvest riesling.  In the glass there are attractive aromatics of lemon, lime, stone, orange peel and blossom.  The palate is probably medium dry (that is, on my scale, sweeter than dry and off dry)) with reminders of currant, raisin, lemon and lime.  High acid binds the flavours together well, and the overall impression is balanced.
