Kilikanoon Oracle Shiraz 2010

Forgive me for the short note on such an outstanding wine, but I was too busy drinking it.  Kilikanoon's 2010 Oracle shiraz is a resounding success, and should cellar for decades.  It has aromatics of plum, earth and spice.  The palate though is where it excels.  It is full bodied, enjoys saturated but balanced fruit flavours, has very long length and a quite extraordinary depth of flavour of plum, earth and spice.  In short, it's a joy to drink.

Rating: Outstanding, Abv: 14.5%, Price: $80, Vendors: http://www.wine-searcher.com/, Website: http://www.kilikanoon.com.au, Tasted: 2014
