Devois de Perret Languedoc 2011

Devois de Perret is another very good import from Ce Soir Wine.  A blend of 40% syrah, 30% grenache and 30% mourvedre, it has aromatics of wild plums, red currants and deli meats.  The palate has a moreish character, with some chalky texture and spice supplementing the plum, redcurrant and prosciutto flavours.  A combination of balance, suggestions of complexity and a savoury moreishness resulted in my glass disappearing rather quickly.

Rating: Good, Abv: 13%, Price: $25, Source: sample, Vendors: www.cesoirwine.com, Website: n/a, Tasted: 2014
