Stefano Lubiana Primavera Pinot Noir 2010

Stefano Lubiana's Primavera Pinot Noir from the 2010 vintage is a very good wine indeed.  It has aromatics of cherry, stones, clove, florals and not an unattractive smidgen of volatile acidity.  For some reason hydrangae came to mind.  The palate has between medium and long length and savoury balanced flavours reminding of sour cherry, clove and florals.  This is a very good release from Stefano Lubiana that bears more than a passing resemblance in style to a Cote de Nuits village or premier cru wine.
