Pierre Naigeon Morey-Saint-Denis Premier Cru La Riotte 2009

From the Morey-Saint-Denis Premier Cru "La Riotte", this is a pretty good sort of a pinot noir from the 2009 vintage.  Light in colour, it has aromatics that are savoury, reminding of cherry, game, cedar and wood spice.  The palate has medium length and body, and flavours of cherry, game meats and cedar.  There's balance, complexity and some length here, and this wine provides effortless drinking.  Good
