Moppity Lock & Key Reserve Shiraz 2012

Shiraz works in the Hilltops region, and so does this wine.  A deep intensity purple in colour, it has aromatics of graphite, spice, wood spice, plum and pepper.  The palate is medium to full bodied, the acid towards high, and flavours reminding of plum, spice and pepper.  The finish shows medium length.  This is a very attractive cooler climate expression of shiraz and is a strong "good" on my scale.  Good
