Moppity Lock & Key Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

This wine is from the Moppity Vineyards Lock & Key range and is a cabernet sauvignon sourced from the Hilltops region near Canberra.  It's a deep intensity ruby in colour with aromatics of cedar, clove, bay leaf, mulberry and red meat, but mostly clove.  The palate is dry with medium length, medium-high acidity and flavours of mulberry and bay leaf, with a lick of oak on the back palate.  A balanced wine that is pleasant enough.  Acceptable to Good
