Zonin Soave 2011

This is an entry level sort of a Soave at $8 a bottle.   Lemon-white in colour, it has a pale intensity of expression and light tears around the glass.  Its aromatics are of muted talc, lemon, almond, nuts and a touch of guava.  The palate is dry, with medium acid and body, and notes of almond, lemon and earth, with short length and some petillance.  This is a pleasant enough current drinking Soave, with balance and some clean flavours.  Acceptable
