Chateau Tour de Mirambeau Réserve 2006

This Bordeaux blanc overperforms for $20.  The blend is not stated, but it could be expected to be a blend of semillon, sauvignon blanc and some muscadelle.  It's bright in the glass, with a pale intensity golden colour.  Its aromatics are intense and mature, reminding of yellow peach, yellow nectarine, lemons, florals and a hint of hazel nuts.  The palate is dry with a medium body and flavours of lemon citrus, minerals, stone fruit and some good length.  Ready to drink now, this is a good quality wine due to its length, some complexity in its matured fruit characters and is a good example of a Bordeaux blanc.  Good
