This champagne, a blend of chardonnay and pinot noir, struck me as very fresh, lemon citrus driven with good acidity, and nuanced with a touch of yeast. I really quite liked it, and in fact preferred it to Duperrey's 2005 vintage release reviewed here. This is a good value non-vintage Champagne that punches above its weight. Good

Serge Mathieu Blanc de Noirs Champagne NV
This is a lovely grower Champagne made from 100% pinot noir. Overt brioche, lemon citrus and rose petal characters are evident aromatically. The palate has a creamy mousse and presents as a balanced expression of Champagne with yeast and lemon citrus flavours supplemented by a touch of sour cherry. A lovely Champagne that is great value for its price. Good to Very Good
