Yering Station Chardonnay 2010

Yering Station's 2010 chardonnay is a pale intensity gold in colour.  It opens to clean and medium intensity aromatics of lemon citrus and stones interwoven with taut oak.  The palate is dry and its acidity is medium(+) but balanced.  Firm oak and lemon citrus round out the palate, as they do the aromatics.  This wine does what Yering Station do well - it is a well made, balanced wine that is a good example of Yarra Valley chardonnay.
