Bimbadgen Estate Chardonnay 2011

Bimbadgen's 2011 vintage chardonnay from the Hunter Valley is a pale intensity lemon in colour.  Aromatically, it is clean with somewhat muted and light aromas of hay, lemon citrus, yellow grapefruit and earth.  It is dry on the palate, with high acid (perhaps its most obvious character), medium length, and continues the theme of yellow grapefruit and lemons.  This wine will appeal to those who like their chardonnay at the racier end of the spectrum.  Acceptable to Good
