Domaine de la Croix Rosé 2010

I have tasted my share of Cotes de Provence rosé while in France, and I have seen a few now starting to creep onto the shelves in Australia.  The continuing increase in the variety of wines available in Australia can only be applauded by the consumer.  In many ways, this is a very typical Cotes de Provence rosé.  It is designed to be drunk, without any particular pontification.  Its characters are typical for the region, with its salmon pink colour and a light aroma of citrus and a touch of minerality.  The palate is dry, and a lemony expression of rosé with only medium acidity loosely holding its frame together, and some chalky but neutral texture.  A typical example of this style of rosé.

Rating: Acceptable, Abv: 12.5%, Price: $20 (500ml), Source: sample, Website: (importer), Tasted: January 2012

I am in the US and trying to locate an importer of Domaine Del a Croix...Blanche..
We so enjoyed it on our recent trip to France.. Crisp and light bubbles.. a great wine for us here in the hot South.
Will check back on this site.. if anyone knows how to get this wine..

Many thanks,

I'm afraid I only know the Australian importer - Craig Underhill at He may be able to direct you regarding the US, but I suspect their business focuses on Australia. An alternative is to try, which I've found to be quite useful in locating wines worldwide, including in the US.

Kind regards
