Tenuta Sassoregale Toscana IGT 2008

This wine is $13.90, so it is hard to expect too much.  It had what I would describe as a "socky" aroma, but the palate was really quite good, almost surprisingly so, with a savoury cherry aspect.  Really quite good for the price.  84 points.
