Metala Shiraz Cabernet 2004

Metala seems to be a label that needs to be looked at on a vintage-by-vintage basis.  The 2004 is quite simply an excellent wine: pepper and plums on the nose, with pepper, and rich, full length on the palate.  Amazing value at this price. 87+ points.
