Isole e Olena Chianti Classico 2007

I understand that 2007 was a mixed vintage in Tuscany.  This wine however is rather good, with an aroma of herbs, charry oak with a gamey note too.  The palate had nice fruit, with a certain sweetness that may be attributable to the 5% syrah in its blend.  Pleasant.  85 points.
