Gitton Pere et Fils Les Herses Sancerre 2005

This Sancerre wine, tasted blind, had a sweet botrytis like aroma of apricots.  The palate appeared to have some residual sugar left, with evident acidity and good length.  A most ususual sauvignon blanc from a vineyard apparently affected by botrytis.
