Garden Gully Shiraz 2005

This wine had been sitting in the cellar for a couple of years, and I couldn't remember whether to be excited about it or not.  It was exciting: an aroma of pepper, eucalyptus and red fruit, was met by a palate with really very good length/persistence.  An excellent wine - bravo.  89 points.

  1. Great to see the old label! I think I prefer the new minimalist Jamsheed one but this has a certain retro charm that suits the Grampians to my way of thinking :)

    cheers
