Fraser Gallop Estate Chardonnay 2005

This wine had a fragrance of refined oak, citrus and ripe fruits.  The palate had good length, that simply went for ages.  Quite simply a very good wine. Tasted blind, it had a more than passing resemblance to a Leeuwin Estate chardonnay.  At $30, it's a steal.  89 points.

Price: around $30 (for current vintage)
Abv: 13.5%
