Coldstream Hills Pinot Noir 2008

Given the profile of Coldstream Hills, and particularly its history of having been established (but subsequently sold to Fosters) by Australia's leading wine writer, James Halliday, it seems an omission on my part not to have previously tried these wines.  In this case, I was quite impressed with their 2008 pinot noir, finding it to have a cherry and earth aroma, with a bit of length and a supple mouthfeel.  85 points.
