Bannockburn Cabernet Sauvignon 1988

This is the second time I've tried this rather ancient wine in the last year from Bannockburn (one of my favourite estates, usually for their pinot noir).  It had an aroma of leaves, horse, and a sweet and sour style edge.  With time, alas, it revealed itself to be slightly corked too.  The palate, until the cork taint came to dominate, was pleasant with a bit of length remaining.  Drink up.
