Leeuwin Estate Art Series Riesling 2009

I was lucky enough to try a series of Leeuwin Estate wines together.  The Art Series chardonnays were the stars of the show.  First, though, was this estate's riesling.  A classic Australian riesling aroma of citrus and lime.  The palate though had a softer citrus note that was pleasant, but lacked the "steel" seen in its Clare Valley competitors.  Pleasant, but there are probably better rieslings available from other regions for less.  82 points.
