Downing Estate Shiraz 2004

An aroma of eucalyptus and grass.  A palate with plums and some length.  Pretty good.  84 to 85 points.

My problem with this wine in general is that it does not mature well.
I've witnessed some issues with ageing Heathcote shiraz (with the notable exception of the Zuber Estate Pink Cliffs Shiraz 1992 tasted in Dec 09) - thanks for the heads up with this one.

Cheers,

Sean
