As at July 2010 the 2007 Ventoux exhibits an honest complexity and quality flavour that one looks for and I am pleasantly rewarded by the hint of cherries and dark plums with an hint of red roses when I breath in the fresh perfume of this wine. It is a wonderful wine and true to its region. I like this blend of GSM very much. I rode the Mt Ventoux in April 2010 and have questioned whether that ride history has caused me to be biased in my appreciation of this wine due to the special memories of the region. I have divorced myself from such biased effect. The wine is as good as I have stated. As a GSM blend it is great value and is right for drinking now.
